My Stance on Artificial Intelligence (AI)

My opinion on this topic may differ from yours.

I do not support any form of AI-generated "art". It's not art. The generations are made from stolen, human-made art. An AI prompt engineer is not an artist. An artist has a deep understanding of their work. If you think this is gatekeeping, you're delusional; it's labor exploitation. Nobody's stopping you from picking up a pen and drawing. AI can't learn like a human does. It doesn't have human-level comprehension and can't be inspired in the same way.Additionally, AI data centers raise the temperature of the area they're in by 10-15°F. People are being forced to surrender their homes such that AI data centers & their power suppliers can be built. It's literally taking our jobs, our homes, and our lives.Please do NOT feed my art (in any of its stages/states) into any AI to train it.Art is supposed to be made by humans, it's to have soul, creativity, life. Humans learn from the world they live in and add their own flare to their art. They get inspired, not just visually, but through other forms of media like music and lore. A machine cannot do that. It can only spit out what was fed into its dataset. Additionally, as it is right now, both public and paid datasets are not ethically sourced. Nobody asked anyone if they could use our art to "train" AI... and now it's a commercial product that artists do not profit from."Your art is on the internet, so it's free for anyone to use."
It's up here so y'all can enjoy it, not use and abuse it. That's not how law works. DMCAs, takedowns, and copyright exist for a reason. It's only a matter of time.
